AzTAP is required to have an advisory council, the Assistive Technology Advisory Board, which meets two times a year. Advisory rather than governing in structure, the members provide input and feedback about AzTAP’s services and outcomes. Its membership includes representatives from:
- Arizona Department of Education
- Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration
- A State Center for Independent Living
- State Workforce Investment Board
- Protection and Advocacy Organization
- Consumers with Disability and/or family members
- Healthcare Providers
- Senior –focused human services organization
- Native American Tribe
